I am glad to tell you, that we have the information for the 11th international Modern Arnis Summer camp of the DAV now available.

It will take place at the 27th of July to the 2nd of August 2009 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Karlsruhe is rather easy to get to through the international airports Frankfurt and Stuttgart about 1 hour by car or train away. Karlsruhe is the door to the Black ForeSt.

We hold the summer camp every 2 years , the first was organized in 1989.
The last times we were 150 (2005) and 189 (2007) participants from 12 nations.

It was great and everybody had a lot of fun and learned a lot.

I would like to invite all of you to come to Germany to join ius in this week of Modern Arnis training.

The costs will depend, if you belong to a WFMA (Worldwide Family of Modern Arnis) association or not.
If yes, one week of training, acomodation and food is 340 Euro. The Dollar price depends on the exchange rate, at the moment it is around 465 US Dollar.
For non Members it is 390 Euro or at the moment around 535 US Dollar.

Hello everybody,

this is just a short reminder regarding the 11th DAV summer camp.
I still hope that some of you find a way to participate at the camp.
But the camp is filling up quickly.
At the moment, there are only 15 places left, all the other 135 are booked already.

So if you are still thinking to attend, please register through the DAV website

Then click on summer camp 2009 and then on "online registration".
Then fill in the form and send it to us.
It would really be nice if you could come.
If you decide later to come, when the beds are booked out already, we can also offer training and food only at the camp.
You can then either try to find a hotel in Karlsruhe, which will not be difficult or camp in a tent at the venue of the summer camp, which will also be possible.
