What do you all make of the investigation in to the woman who went overboard on the cruise ship?

FBI is investigating to see if it was an accident, suicide, or murder.

Creepy events IMO. This seems to have the makings of a story that may not have a neat ending.

The ending will certainly be bad, with the woman being dead. To be resolved is whether it was an accident, a suicide or murder.

Not enough out there yet for even good speculation (perhaps an oxymoron).

Possibly...... and yet those close to the LA Santa Killer say they saw no signs of impending explosion.

Many folks have suicidal ideation of varying strengths and duration.... a few act decisively on them, many others never do.

A person considering suicide may still be the victim of a homicide.... there are times somebody else wants you dead, too.

All too often, the indicators of suicidal intentions are only visible in hindsight and when you are actually looking for them.

There's just not enough in the press for me to feel comfortable making more than guesses about the circumstances. It may or may not be telling, for example, that there was a delay in the husband making a report -- because he may have reasonably just figured she was busy elsewhere, that a tour went longer or something like that.

Or asleep-he could simply have been asleep when she went over, and thought she had gone to whatever when he woke up.

I believe there's shipboard security video of her going over the rail.

Well that'll be leaked onto the web soon enough. *sarcastically truth*.

A fall from a cruise ship is something akin to falling off a mid-sized building. It's a long way to the water from the decks and at that height water is like a cement sidewalk.

Hopefully the answer will be found. The family would probably want closure on it soon as possible.
