A classic means of evolution, reproductive isolation of two populations of the same species, has produced two populations of the same lizard, one of which lays eggs, the other of which is transitioning to live birth. The lowland population of the Yellow Bellied Three Toed Skink lays eggs, while the population in the mountains mostly (but not completely) gives birth to live young. LINK

This is a good example of evolution-in-action, but far from the only one.
