Homeless Dying Man Gets to See His Dog as His Last Wish

A homeless man who was being transferred to a hospice for his final days just happened to tell the paramedic who was transporting him that he used to have a dog when he was well enough and was living out of his car and so wished to see her again. The paramedic just happened to be a volunteer at the shelter where his dog was kept and arranged for that meeting. Here are the pictures that show that encounter:

Ah, the bond between man and dog... hard to beat. Hope they will find the dog a good home.

I'm so glad they took pictures. It's a wonderful reminder that you can scratch the surface of anyone and find the most amazing stories. He's inspired a lot of people with this moment.
