This is complete bunk. Your limiting the word "professoer" to your own personal defenition, and being pissed off when people use the expanded defenition as to mean one who professes, sets you up for always being pissed when you hear it used outside of you comfort zone. Martial arts terms are what ever the termer deems them to be, and using a word such as professor[of the terms] is not breaking any culural morays.
