It's a very good video. Ueshiba said at one point that Aikido was 80% atemi. Most aikidoka use metsubushi as atemi in most of the kihon waza, but negate the 'hidden' atemi in there techniques. This is highlighted in the sucomen iriminage (side approach, entering throw) the guy uses on the video. As the right hand grasps the uke's right fist, the tori throws a left, vertical punch to the face and collapses it into a left elbow before throwing the uke. Most traditionalists will frown upon the technique being done this way, but for defensive purposes, it's a sweet technique.
