I'm looking to turn my garage into a training area - but I'd like your advice on the matter of what is useful, and what I should give a miss. So far I've thought of this:
Heavy bag
Floor to roof ball
Shield pad
Some jigsaw mats to spar on
Now, the jigsaw mats is one dilema. Relatively expensive - much more expensive than I anticipated. $600-700 for 5m Squared . Anyone know of any decent alternative? Or a cheap place to get them? (keep in mind I live in Australia)
The heavy bag is another dilema. Don't really want to cop out unnecersary funds for a whole stand, but I can't hang it from the roof, and the walls are brick. Anyone got any ideas on how to mount a wall bracket onto a brick wall?
So yeah, any advice about any of it would be awesome guys, cheers.
