Just out of curiosity, what songs do you guys and gals like to listen to during FMA training?

My personal faves:

-"Oye Como Va" by Carlos Santana
-"Petrified" by Fort Minor
-"Bring the Pain" by Method Man
-"Body Movin" by Beastie Boys
-"Bebot" by the Black Eyed Peas
-Traditional Kulintang Rhythms

I've also seen this CD on the Inosanto.com website:

I've heard some sample clips from it and I really like what I hear. Basically, anything with a tribal-esque beat tends to work best for me when it comes to FMA training.

So what about you?

Filipino people are rhythmic in their dances and martial arts. Bruce lee stressed timing in his 'Tao', because timing and rhythm are also part of combat. To me FMA has a very special rhythm for combat and part of a good counter system is the ability to break the opponents time ! We sometimes practice with live drummers like in dance clases, it sure helps your timing.
