Hello all, I have finally converted most of my old VHS tapes to DVD and now I have a few old audio cassettes that I would like to convert to CD. I see fairly cheap converters out there that claim to easily convert cassettes over to CD. Has anyone here successfully done that? If so, what are the best ways to do it?

I think we had this a while ago in the computer section.

as long as you still have a player with at least a headphone jack, you are golden:

You get a computer program that allows you to record.
plug tape player in. they make that handy dandy cable now, with 2 male ends, what was it called, 1/8th double ended audio cable I think.
Play and record.

It is actually easy enough for me to have figured it out. :)
