This thread has been on other parts of the CMA sub site, but thought I would come to the source site, since I am not a wing chun practitioner, and ask for any feedback, knowledge, comment on the new movie and Donnie Yen's role in it? Also, has Augustine Fong, Hawkins Cheng, Leung Ting, William Cheung, Benny Ming, or any other person been asked to serve as an observer or advisor? Although I have studied northern arts and Yang tai chi for over 30 years, I love the directness, speed, and approach of wing chun. It is very efficient and cool to watch. In any event, sorry if this topic raises hackles, just wanted to know from inside observers!!

I been practicing Wing Chun for over 16 years. I think the Movie is very Interesting. I look forward to it coming to America so I can watch.
Some will dislike it because of dramaization. An some aspects of other styles may be included. But I still all Gung fu interelates which will make it a great movie to watch.
