We had a color belt test tonight at our school and everybody did really well. The students were prepared and focused and came to play. They demonstrated their techniques, patterns, understanding of knowledge factors, and spontaneous work and the whole school came out to support those testing. It ended up being about three hours long, the students did a great job, everybody deserved their rank, and nobody got seriously hurt. They left sweaty and sore and feeling like they'd really earned their new belts. That's the best kind of test. I'm really happy with the way my students performed and I'm looking forward to going in tomorrow and starting on the next level of the curriculum.
