Let's say you're the delivery person in this scenario. You've rounded up 800 live cats to sell to area restaurants. A 'veteran cat rescuer' stops your truck and pays you the going rate for the whole lot of them, thereby saving them from a fate normally reserved for less cute animals. Do you:
a) Sell your truck and start a career in music;
b) Join the cat rescuer's cause because, gosh darn it, you admire her spunk; or
c) Go round up 800 more cats and see who will pay more next time - the cat rescuer or the restaurants?
Bonus question - if you knew that there would soon be an internet posting for 800 kitties free to good home, would you even bother going out and rounding up the next batch?
