Charlotte Is Better Than Atlanta

This might be random but since this is the Lcoker Room Bar & Grill it's the place to say random stuff. Charlotte is better than Atlanta, it's bigger, got more stuff to do, and an all around better city.

Marta is pretty handy. I worked in Atlanta for about 6 months at one point and really appreciated how extensive the train system was.

Never been to charlotte so I can’t comment on that. What did you like doing in Charlotte?

We go to a tournament in Lake Norman every spring. Charlotte and it's greater metro area is nice. My only complaint is the traffic layout and flow. I lived in Chicago for 4 years, and the traffic was never as chaotic and congested as it is in Charlotte. I admit it may just be that I don't have the familiarity with Charlotte like I did with Chicago though.

Underground Atlanta used to be a fun place to visit. Now it is a seedy dump. Being from the south it saddens me to say that Atlanta is just as rude and dirty as any city I have ever visited. Extremely bad traffic.
Back in the day, it was a tournament hot bed, and we would be there 6-8 times/year. Not to mention doing a lot of work in and around the Greater Atlanta area. Don't get me started on trying to drive out of Atlanta on a Friday.

The last time I was in Atlanta was for a convention, it's a nice city and all but Charlotte is bigger and you can do more.

Among some stuff they've got a really nice science museum and they've got great movie theaters.

As for me, I run a business there, I own a town house that I rent out.

Public transit in CLT is more limited, unless that has changed drastically since I worked there.

Is Charlotte bigger??

Yes, it's more than twice the size of Atlanta in terms of square miles.
I was looking at it earlier, and that's not true of the greater metropolitan area, which is how we tend to experience cities. Both have sprawled widely, and are similar sizes. I suspect the city of Atlanta is smaller because of the way counties are set in Georgia - the counties there are very small, and that probably led to Atlanta not annexing as much territory into the city limits.
