Breaking: Active shooter at MIT, officer killed

The area is on very high alert. Many communities on lockdown. On my way to work in Mass., the usual speed trap cruiser set up by NHSP just north of the MA/NH border was fortified by an NHSP SUV and two unmarked DHS vans.

A friend just had her office evacuated with everyone sent home because one of her colleagues accidentally left a backpack behind. Poor dude probably won't be leaving his backpack behind again any time soon.
