Rather....sophisticated....

This seems like a planned and coordinated attack. Something tells me this won't be the last event, and I'm very curious to know just what in the hell is going on.

The LE agencies involved are proceeding as if these are the marathon bombers. Media is already going on with how likely it may be.

Personally I'm not speculating until I hear word from the agencies themselves.

Code Black issued at Mt. Auburn Hospital. Pretty sure that's a bomb threat.

Code Black, Beth Israel Hospital, where the perp is hospitalized.

Choppers grounded due to that famous Boston fog

[SUP]Annnnd....the media rumors are afoot again. Boston Globe and NYTimes are saying "a source" with the BPD says this is the marathon bomber. Channel 7 says the suspect is dead after a shootout at the hospital.

Nothing on radio about any of this, they've been too busy trying to track down the 2nd suspect

Boston PD radio now says suspect at large is believed to be the suspect in the white hat from the Marathon Bombings

Don't have TV, but reading articles online as they come up. Keep me up to date (thanks for that so far by the way.)
From what I read from papers in these type of situations, from witness statements and such, there is one of many thing I can't understand here.
If these witnesses are hearing explosions and what sounds like gunfire.... WHY are so many of them going closer to investigate!? They make themselves potential victims for one thing. And also, the cops have enough to deal with. Don't distract them by having to worry about citizens too.... Or heaven forbid they mistake a bystander for a potential threat in the heat of the moment.

Personally if I hear gunfire I'm backing out of that area and preparing in case things get bad despite my best efforts to leave.

All public transport suspended, several suburbs locked down.
