I think that people greatly overestimate the "power" that these people wield. They can definatly set some things in motion, but they cannot simply conspire to do whatever they want because there are too many moving parts.
I think this is probably true, but what the hell do I know. I'm just a workin man reading this or that on the internet. I guess what I'm trying to say is that there really is a limit of what we can know about this subject. This is how the conspiracies get started. People take what they do know and use their imagination to fill in the gaps.
Anyways, IMO, one of the best examples of this is the North American Union. It came out of the Council of Foreign Relations. Do people really know what will happen when this is implemented? Do people really understand how the CFR plans to implement this plan? So far, I agree with Lou Dobbs, it has pretty much been a clandestine activity where the press has been shut out. So, what do we really know? Do we take CFR's word for it?
Here is some more from Lou Dobbs.
This is a little bit on the Amero, the proposed currency for the North American Union.
So, how much do we really know about this stuff? Certain discussions really are being made behind closed doors. These decisions have far reaching implications and there is no oversight by the press, no debate in congress, no chance for any of us to vote on this because the information is being held back.
One thing that really bothers me is that anyone, including members of the Press like Lou Dobbs, who researches this, is immediately labeled as a "conspiracy theorist". IMO, this perjorative is just being used to shut people up. As in Lou Dobbs case, this label came right down from the top in the CFR and suddenly all of the followers start bleating it reflexively.
