Hi all;
this question has been kicking around in my head for a while, so i thought i'd get it out there to find out what others think:
How do you maintain the beginner's mind once you have been training for a while?
By that, i guess i mean the sense of freshness, of creative uncertainty. The sense of excitement when you know nothing and there is so much to learn. Not getting bogged down in the doctrine of "this is the way it's done", but always coming up with new ways to see old exercises and forms etc. Of course, "beginners mind" might mean something entirely different to you and i'd like to know about that as well! :asian:
Many thanks,
qi-tah
