In his interview with Cagewriter, WEC lightweight Anthony Njokuani said that he wants to be known as the knockout king. He'll have no trouble keeping that title, as tonight, he knocked out IFL veteran Chris Horodecki in 3:33 of the first round.
Horodecki made the mistake of turning his back to Njokuani, and the 6-2 Njokuani saw an opening. He launched a kick to Horodecki's head, dropping him. Njokuani followed up with some ground and pound, and after Horodecki took a ton of punishment, the fight was stopped for Njokuani.
"I'm always going to get better, because that's what I do!" Njokuani told the crowd after the fight.
This is Njokuani's third win in a row, and all three have been by knockout. His lone loss in the WEC is to current lightweight interim champ, Ben Henderson.
