Vancouver, Wash. A 28-year-old man told police several men forced their way into his home in the 2300 block of East 33rd Street late Tuesday and, fighting for his life, he sliced off one intruder's ear.

"The ear was recovered in the house," said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.

Officers found the man whose ear was severed at an area hospital. It is believed he is still hospitalized, Kapp said Wednesday.

This paragraph really makes me agree with you.

"Kapp declined to say which hospital the man who lost his ear was in. If anyone wanted to harm him, and if they knew where he was, that might endanger hospital employees, other patients and visiting family members, she said."

What a strange story! There is a lot more behind the scenes. I'm curious about the ear. Was it ripped off by hand? Cut off with a knife? We might have to wait for the made for tv movie on this one.

What is the old saying? Ear today, Gogh tomrrow?

:Groan:! Well done with the art-history pun attack :D!

Hello, A bunch of guys attack you in a house, and you have a knife? It is really something when you only cut one ear?

Someone protecting their lives/home....with a knife against several attackers...only gets one ear?

I guess if you tell everyone to leave and they don't hear you? ...take one ear and see if the rest of them heard you?

Aloha

I'm inclined to agree. 4 men break into your house, you ask them 'politely' to leave and they don't? You touch my TV I cut off your ear, I mean it's only fair.....

"There does appear to be some prior acquaintance between the victim and the suspects," Kapp said.

Hmmmm.

Hello, Remember is you take the "right ear"! ...he will always have one "left"

If you take the "left ear" and don't return it? ...doesn't make it "right"

Aloha, All ears here! ..............................................heard that!
