In 1975 I purchased a book, "Zen Philosophy, Zen Practice," written by Thich Thien-An.
The selection below immediately captivated me and actually still does to this day. I just thought that I would share it with everyone.
"If there be righteousness in the heart, there will be beauty in the character.
If the be beauty in the character, there will be harmony in the home.
If there be harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation.
If there be order in the nation, there will be peace in the world."
