My wife Blanche volunteers for two dog rescue agencies, one specializing in pugs like the little one below. She's about eight weeks old and was found in an industrial park. Getting her adopted won't be a problem. I'm just posting this cuz she's so dang cute. No name yet -- I've proposed "Poop," "Coal," and "Rasin" and have received only cold stares from Blanche.

Great pic!! Thanks for posting!:ultracool

My wife and I got our dog, a Shepherd/Husky mix, from a rescue group. Best dog I've had. For $100 dollars, I got a fantastic dog and gave him a great home.

How adorable!!! I got my dog, Sable, from a rescue too, for $90 - there's 2 pictures, one from when I first got him, and another from last summer; he's 4 now.

How about Ebony as a name?

OMG! She is so cute! If there was I way with the distance between us, I'd adopt her in a heartbeat.

I'd better not let my missus see that or we'll be on a plane to come get her .

Sable looks a happy, handsome, chap too, Kacey .

Thanks - he's a happy boy; he was trying to figure out how to get to a squirrel on the power line in that one.

Let's see... puppy names... Ebony, Pepper, Princess, Little Miss Underfoot (if she's anything like Sable was as a puppy)...

She is pretty cute. She's gonna be tough give up, but we already have animals that couldn't be easily adopted out because of age or infirmity. We're full.

:D

Stop it with the pictures already . Right, that's it! How do I block just this thread so my lady can't get to see that bundle of extreme cuteness? :)

My mother, who lives alone, had lost her dog during that poisoned food scandal. Yesterday my daughters and I surprised her with a black lab puppy who could be the twin of the above dog. She is delighted! (Now, if she can just deal with the 18 months of teething....)

I can only hope that placing the one on the right does not prove to be impossibly difficult......
