As people here who like me (so surely that is everyone then? ) may remember that I play LOTRO (Lord of the Rings On-Line) ... in fact I play it a lot nowadays as it serves to distract me from the devastation that is my real life . This is a cogent and insightful ... oops, no that should read "funny"! ... evaluation of the primary Tanking class in the game by one of the primary DPS classes :lol:.

(but I consider it a bit of a turnoff having to spend real money on ingame quests)

Ah, the Free-to-Play method :nods:. I was lucky enough to buy a life-time VIP account when I started - very expensive but it's been worth it. Turbine don't do that anymore, altho' it is reckoned if you buy the top Turbine Point bundle when they have an offer on that that is enough points to get everything in the game opened up.

I have to go back and check (i you tell me the Amrican server you are on, it might simplify things )

I'm on Nimrodel. I also have a presence on Laurelin and Snowbourn but they are European servers (not that that matters anymore as they are all physically in America now).
