The 3rd WTF International Poomsae Referee Seminar

1. Dates: January 12-16, 2005 (five days) 09:00-17:00 everyday

2. Venue: Stuttgart, Germany

​

3. Qualification of participants: (All requirements should be met.)
​

1) Judge-*****-Presenter:
- Holder of Kukkiwon 8th Dan or higher
- Recommended by President of Member National Association of the WTF

2) Judge:
- 25 years old or older / Holder of Kukkiwon 4th Dan or higher
- Recommended by President of Member National Association of the WTF
3) Standard Poomsae Learning:
A. 18 years old or older / Holder of Kukkiwon Dan
B. Recommended by President of Member National Association of the WTF

4. Attendance fee: should be paid in Stuttgart, Germany at the registration o­n January 12, 2005 at 09:00
​

1) Judge and Presenter : USD300
2) Judge : USD300
3) Standard Poomsae learning : USD100

​

5. Local transportation from airport to hotel will be provided by the Deutsche Taekwondo Federation.


​

6. Accommodation: Please find the attached `Flight Schedule Notice for hotel reservation’ and send it to the Deutsche Taekwondo Federation

7. Documents to be submitted:
​

1) Application form: to the WTF no later than December 31, 2004
2) A copy of Kukkiwon Dan certificate: to the WTF no later than December 31, 2004.
3) Flight Schedule Notice for hotel reservation: to the Deutsche Taekwondo Federation.
​

8. Others
​

1) Things to prepare: Writing utensils, Taekwondo uniform and sports shoes

Would be great to go to!! But unfortunatley time and finances won't allow it. Sounds like they are going to hold that in conjuction with the Dragon Cup that is there the following weekend.

Agreed and agreed! The overall tenor is towards standardization so that the coaches, competitors, and judges are all on the same page. This is the 3rd time this particular seminar has been offered (I believe the last time was in Dubai at the end of July-I heard about it after returning from Korea).

You can always try for second best. The WTF poomsae video that the golden tiger/Dartfish sells (Masters Jung Kook Hyun and Lee Kyu Hyun). The DVD's are pretty good and should get most people what they need without the big price tag.

Apparently there is a push to bring everyone up to speed for 2006 World championship in Poomsae. Watch for annoucements I here Texas in April is nice.

These DVDs are neat-I like the format and the ability to replay over and over again. GM LEE, Kyu Hyun is amazing to watch-awesome power and form!
