What is the one part of your workout if you did not do everyday would just kill you?

For me it would be doing not being able to do poomsae, I beleive this is one of the very essential parts of your everyday training.

My high kicking drills (balance, balance, balance... and more balance) and certain hyungs and kata, Empi in particular. I love that form. Also Palgwes Yuk Jang (tricky little bugger, that one is!) and Chil Jang.

I used to break every day but it started getting WAY too expensive—and the outer edges of my hands began to turn interesting colors...

There was a time when I would have said hitting a heavy bag was the thing I did daily. Now, it's poomsae, without a doubt. I just love it!

I do the heavey bag about two or three times a week. I really do not miss hitting it everryday

Mine would be stretching every day. Being new to tkd and overweight, flexibility is one of my biggest obstacles.

Welcome to Martialtalk Mark, good luck with your training!

My day is not complete if I don't do poomsae.

Well so far a lot of us beleive poomsae is important to our training. That is a great thing I believe.

Tuls, definitely - not as many as I probably should, but I try.

Depends greatly on what I feel like doing and the time factor. Sometimes I just hit the heavy bag for a few minutes, and sometimes I can do more-bag, forms, steps, basic kicking, and basics.
Also depends on how much energy I have.

For me it's the non-TKD stuff, specifically the 100 pushups and 200 situps we need for the BB test. If I skip those or do a few less here or there it becomes very, very difficult for me to get those numbers back up. I love the hyungs, I do some stretching and kicking whenever and wherever I can, but the pushups and situps are what drag me down.

Since I rarely have a partner with whom to work, I often use forms to practice, coupled with sandbag. It's often a choice between Pyong Won and Sip Jin (until I learn Jitae anyway).
