The coming few weeks or months after this incident will be quite telling for Norways very free and open society - can the principle of Freedom withstand the threat of cowardly violence?

It is horrible and I would not have expected that in Norway. I did read something awhile back about Norway being very short on Police. Not that they could not get then just that the government would not hire them, could this have influenced this or is it just that I am misinformed

Xue. I believe you are right. I heard the same info on shortage of police there. Not sure about it influencing the situation, but it didn't help it either.
