4 Things Congress Could Learn From NHL Hockey

Sure, I know what you’re thinking--that hockey players just use a beautiful and exciting sport as an excuse to fight. First, that’s not really true, and secondly, is that so much different from how Congress behaves?

But if that doesn't work maybe they should be more like the Taiwanese Parliament
at least it would be more realistic

And speaking of Hockey, Government and Taiwan

You know, there was a time when congressmen would show up with pistols, bowie knives, and walking sticks and brawls were not uncommon. If I remember correctly just before the civil war there was one congressman severely beaten with a cane during a debate on the floor. I don`t know if I`d want to return to those days.....but it`d sure make c-span more exciting.
