Vending machines in Japan - cool & very odd

I've been told that as well, at least in Tokyo.

However, the juice-box sized containers of Sake can still be found.

So you are telling me there is still a reason to go to Japan after all.

Cool thanks.

The bigger containers are sold in convenience stores. :D

But can I get them in the airport that is the question? :)

May depend on the terminal. You can definitely get them on the Narita Express.

We stop in Narita on the way to Beijing.

This is good news.

As a side note and off topic (sorry), one of the strangest feelings I have ever had in any airport was in Narita.

I was standing in a hallway and all of a sudden I realized I was the tallest person in sight. I was literally head and shoulders above everyone. I am 6'1" tall and that does not happen in the US or Beijing, but it did in Narita. I felt like giant until I got to the gate to board the jet and there were 2 young Japanese guys standing there talking that were both near or at 7' tall.

I dont think I would sell my underwear.

The first time I went to Japan I burst out laughing when I saw one of those vending machines, for a soft-drink called Dydo. A friend of mine asked me what was so funny, and I had to explain that a Dydoe is a male genital piercing.

It was kind've strange when I was in Japan having all of these vending machines everywhere. However, it gave you an opportunity to try new
drink. (juice, pop, whatever) Some were good and some were bad. I tasted my first Coca-Cola Zero there and believe it or not I like them alot.
