Here's my question....since we're supplying the manpower, the ammo, etc, and they are sitting on a **** load of oil and gas, you'd think the least they could do is gas up our tanks for free.

but wait Bob, I thought it was fake war that Bushco started to steal the iraqi oil???

I mean thats what the left has been claiming for 4 years now, so it MUST be true... but now you tell us we are paying for the gas we use there?

ok, confused now.

yeah, wouldnt want those inconveniant truths to get ya distracted.....

well, I am wondering WHY we are paying more than retail.

But on the plus side, maybe that will convince people we aint there to rob the place.

no, people who would think that will ignore this

Is the infrastructure even in place to move a lot of oil about in Iraq? Sorry, but I don't know.

If you take the time to read, you would know my opinion on the "war for oil" bit.

I would think that after this long, that it's been at least partially rebuilt.

I have found several mentions of recent damage to the system however currently being repaired with a diminished production capacity.

People said we went there to make oil cheap.

Maybe, we went there to make oil expensive.

Think about it.

Bush sends Cheney to Saudi Arabia to talk about oil prices. They talk. The talks are proclaimed a success. Prices go up. Exxon and Halliburton - no longer a US company - show record profit.

Mission accomplished, I suppose.

hmmm... maybe we've overstayed our welcome, after making a bigger mess of things.

hmmm... maybe they never really wanted us there in the first place.

maybe this is the only way they have to get their message across.
