Well last night was certainly an eye opening night for me. I worked security at a night club. Being that it was my first night, the gods, fate, and the evil little gremlins that live under my bed thought it would be a good night for there to be a melee when the club closed. Thankfully I came out of the night unscathed; I just kind of kept out of the other (bigger) security personnel’s way. Despite not really getting in there and mixing it up.. it was definitely an educational experience.

Wow! So share, if you can, your observations on the situation. What is a melee in your opinion? How many patrons were involved vs. how many security?

I will elaborate later, I'm about to head out the door to my 'day' job. I got the call from my boss at 9 this morning after getting in at 4am. :waah:

As for the melee, it was about 15 partons fighting each other, and roughly 7 security. Thankfully PD showed up rather quickly in overwhelming force.
