Yeah I know what it sounds like but this is a remarkable achievement for victims of fires and other severe burns. Watch the video... it's amazing what they were able to do with the victim's own stem (skin?) cells.

WOW. Beats the hell out of skin grafts. I wonder, do the nerve endings regrow as well? Besides taking forever, skin grafts leave numb spots where you can't really feel heat or light pressure. Feeling something like you have a thick layer of superglue on your skin. And then you get the scars...

Interesting question about the nerve endings... but the results definitely are a remarkable improvement.
