The Opening Ceremony is tonight and the excitement is as great as it was a few weeks ago for the Olympics. These Games have been called the 'Games of the Possible' to show what can be done rather than what can't. Looking forward to it expecially the wheelchair rugby. My shift partner has a friend competing in the sitting volleyball, a Gurkha who was injured in Afghan.

Lighting the flame.

Watched the Judo last night, it's brutal, far more Judolike than the Olympic stuff! Nice Gi chokes.
The wheelchair basketball was epic, I don't usually care much for basketball but the GB v Germany game was exciting and a real battle. Shame Germany won in the end though. :)
