[yt]yRVo3hwRYMU[/yt]

Short Film Title: Art of the Saber
Studio Name: Ho Brothers' Productions
Director: Clarence Ho
Cast: Cary Ho and Calvin Ho
Editor: Calvin Ho
Cinematographer: Clarence Ho

A light saber fight sequence with the flavor of a Hong Kong martial arts action movie. This short is set in a dense forest, where a young man, willing to leave his loved ones behind to help fight in the Revolution, clashes with an enemy in a battle where only one will remain standing. Music by Denez Prigent and a monologue extracted from an authentic Civil War love letter written in 1861, help to set the tone for this movie.
Taken from FXHome.com

End Note:
This film is dedicated to our parents for their undying love and support, and for always putting their children first.

Music by
Denez Prigent - Gortoz a Ran - From the movie "Blackhawk Down"
Hans Zimmer - Honor Him - From the movie "Gladiator"

Monologue created from the excerpts of the Civil War love letter written by Union soldier, Captain Sullican Ballou, to his wife Sarah on July 14, 1861. He was killed in battle one week later.

This movie is based on characters and situations created buy George Lucas

Special Thanks from the Creators: Thanks to all those who took the time to e-mail us comments and suggestions regarding our proof-of-concept, from which, we used in the development of "Art of the Saber". We greatly appreciate your praise as well as your interest in our project, and we hope you enjoyed this short film as well.

Notes from the Creators: For those interested in the creation process of the movie, it took four days of filming during the early summer of 2002 in a small woods in Maryland using a Sony mini DV camcorder and several plastic lightsabers. Editing was done using Adobe Premiere 6.0 and special effects were added using AlamDV. Obviously, we are not actors nor film students/professional film makers by any stretch of the imagination. We simply thought creating a short movie would be a fun project. It was.
