Is your Martial Art a form or path of spiritualality for you?
In a sense, yes. It does not take the place of my religious faith, but it does provide me with something that satisfies my soul.
Yes, in the way that I define "spirituality". It is part of what calms me, what brings me contentment and fulfillment in life, and how I manage my own development. Is your Martial Art a form or path of spiritualality for you?
But you do understand team spirit, and how that pertains to sports? Right?I don't know. I feel like it is what I am supposed to be doing, as far as spirituality goes I dont know, I really don't understand the concept regarding martial arts.

In this case there is an "I" in team. What team? Martial arts is usually one on one.

Yeah. That is the U-Team. LOLSpirit.
Yeah, consider there is no such thing as one team spirit. Only, several individual attitudes in common.Spirit.

In this case, the "team" is the dojo/dojang/gym and all the people who train and teach there. When you are there, your job isn't solely to improve your fighting ability. You should also be working to improve the physical skills of those you train with, and your own (and their) personal/internal skills. What team? Martial arts is usually one on one.

To me, there is. I think a lot of the answer to the OP has to do with how we each define "spirituality". For me, it is not the same thing as religion (though religion may be an aspect of it for many people). Spirituality is about growth, living in integrity with your own values, learning about yourself and the world you live in, caring for others, and similar topics. When you teach Martial Arts you affect the lives of people. Maybe there's a certain spirituality to that.
