Very much so, a lot of culture and a lot of history.
There seem to be a good number of US and Canadian Sikhs, especially those in their teens, 20s, and 30s, that want to actively learn Gatka, but the resources to learn here in North America are much leaner than they are in northern India. Which...is a shame. Many young Sikhs...especially teens, are met with frequent reminders as to how they are "different", and Gatka gives them a chance to embrace their heritage in a powerful way.
