Registering with Hombu

I am not sure about the registration with the Hombu. How does it work, does your shidoshi register you somehow by sending in paperwork to the Hombu. I was also curious about when you move up in rank do you get some kind of certification from hombu, I mean I am by no means hung up on rank but was just curious if you get something signifying your rank. Thank you for any replies I am learning, thanks for being patient with me.

That should be fine when you get your bujinkan membership.
In most cases shidoshi apply for those memberships for the whole dojo at one time.
The membership runs for a year so that'll come by on your way

Your shidoshi can get you a rank certificate from hombu for you.
