Quantum Biology

Thanks for sharing this, as it fits right in with my interest of the moment, evolutionary biology.

Professor Cox (yes, the physicist :D) started a new series on BBC2 last night which looks into what life is and how it got going. You might not be able to access the iPlayer version but it's worth a search of the Net because usually a copy you can play will spring up somewhere:

It's interesting to hear a physicists eye-view of biology I have to say and it's very well shot, almost like a wildlife documentary. The segment about the Golden jellyfish is particularly wonderful, both for the eye and for the brain.

:chuckles: Here is a definitely non-scientific review of the start of the series :D http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-reviews/professor-brian-coxs-the-wonders-of-life-1560074

So does this mean science proves magic lol.
Great stuff. Another field that is interesting to me is synthetic biology.

I am sure a new field of mixing genetics, stem cells, synthetic biology and
Nanobots will one day emerge making us all like x-men.
