thank you SO. and special thanks for the lyric in both languages, now i can sing along. :->

i remember sitting in my car out side of the post office on a rainy morning years ago hearing this for the first time. watching P sing it from Rome it never fails to stop time. after seeing/hearing him perform it again and again i began to see the joy and transport the singing of it gave him - what a gift. And Puccini too - he gave us the music.

so here is another... she did this for P - her friend - at the last minute, with 1 rehersal, in his key (no time for re-orchestration), on less than 20 minutes notice, never saw the words before, with millions of people plus one watching.

Later he said that she "found the heart of the song" and had tears as he watched her sing it when he could not. thanks again
