It is now available as a preorder a new book about Takeda's mainline Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu and Ono-ha Itto-ryu Kenjutsu. With original text and photos, and a big technical section, this is going to be the definitive text in english language about the traditional martial art origin of Aikido, Yoseikan Budo, Hakko-ryu and other modern budos.

I think I will add it to my library as well. I haven't been too impressed with the books on the subject I've seen so far, but this one looks like it could be very good.
