I was thinking at first it was getting to be way cool... a meaner, leaner HKPhooey... then it delved into the anime regions and unfortunately for me it lost it's flavor real quick.
Part of the charm of the original was his bumbling, stumbling, fumbling methods of getting the bad guy... with Spot invariably helping him out without his knowledge.
Guess I'm a stickler for the original... but this newer one does look pretty kewl ... if you're into the anime type combat sequences.

The voice made the character. Definitely like the origianal better, but had to laugh when i came across this clip.
