Hi all! I've been hounded by these people who claim they have a half million to give me and I have now gotten a phisical address to be verified. If amyone is in or near Manchester,U.K., I would greatly appreciate if you would pay this guy a visit. His Name is James Fudiciary, his address is:123 Longsite rd, Manchester,U.K. I really don't expect the address to exist.

By any chance was the name actually Fiduciary? I'm willing to bet he's not in the UK at all. But he does have a sense of humor.

Tell them to bring cash

hehe

things like this tend to be false. They get your account number so they can wire the funds. You wind up with an empty account.

What reason are they saying you have got this money? by chance from some lottery?

Kreth and I are on the same wave-length! That's the first thing that popped into my mind when I read this guys name!

Unless you're EXPECTING $500,000.00 from some LEGITIMATE source... I'd have to say (with total confidence)... that you're have been/are being scammed...

Two things you never mess with:

1. My Family (extended family included)

2. My Finances (they're messed up enough all by themselves, thank you!)

Hurting one hurts the other... and they'll BOTH hurt you if you try to scam me!

Best of luck!

If you DO get the money... drinks are on you!

Best Regards,

Andy

Sounds like a variant of the now-familiar Nigerian funds-transfer scam: son or daughter of a senior Nigerian government minister deposed in coup or whateve left $20,000,000 in a Swiss bank, needs to be transfered quickly to a safe North American haven, you supply your account data and collect a cool 10% of the money (or however much). Go supply the info they want and bang, they own your identitiy...

But `Fiduciary' is such an obvious giveaway!

Hey Gary,
If mister Fiduciary is really there I will collect the money from him myself and deposit it directly into your account. Just PM me with your account details, LOL ;) Seriously.. do not do that please!! I is just jokin wid ya! .. I think as these good folks here have explained.. this is a major SCAM.. Suggest treating the mails as spam and do not reply back to them.. Good luck..

My thoughts exactly. THIS IS A SCAM! RUN!

Thanks everyone. I've known this to be a scam from the start, I've just been having fun challenging these guys to expose themselves.

Tell ya what; will someone in England give me Keeley Hazell's address okay?... forget the scam artists just get me in touch with that gal. :D

Holy Suffering! Never heard of her before, but just googled her name and have to agree. Of course my wife would kill me then revive me, just so she could kill me again.

As for the original post, RRRUUUNNN!! Fudiciary, at least the scam artist has a sense of irony.

One of my e- mails gets about 20 of those from various countries, claiming that they have money they will entrust to me, I've won, etc. It's really ANNOYING!!!! Do they really think we're that stupid?!

Do they really think we're that stupid?!

Mostly, no, but apparently there are indeed people who do as instructed and get vital info stolen. If you send ten million of these out, which is what they do, to randomly collected e-addresses---then even if one tenth of 1% of the poplulation is that stupid, you have 10,000 people's identity data in your pocket---probably the same ones who really believe that they're on the Publisher's Clearinghouse shortlist to win that $5,000,000 jackpot... if it didn't work enough times, they wouldn't do it.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I thought it might make an interesting thread because the internet scams are so vast. I'd love to know who dinged me here. Just because you don't like me is no reason to hit my rep points
