Towering geysers of water -- regular, Earth-like, life-sustaining water -- apparently erupt from a tiny moon of Saturn, scientists announced Thursday, declaring that the ''smashing, surprising'' discovery carried them closer to the Holy Grail of science:
Evidence that life exists elsewhere in the universe and even in our own solar system.
''This is very cool,'' said James Webb, an astronomer and a physics professor at Florida International University. ``There is a real possibility that this is an abode for life.''
