Mothers of children with autism had a stronger reactivity or more areas of reactivity between antibodies and brain proteins compared with mothers without an autistic child. The presence of maternal antibodies also correlated with having a child with developmental regression, a primary feature of autism.
Paragraph is from Reuters news:

Thoughts? I'm not sure what mothers could do differently about this.

I suppose it will depend on what causes the higher level of antibodies in the first place.

GREAT!!! ONE more reason for maternal guilt.

Any more information on the specific types/clusters of antibodies? Our family (including over 100 first and second cousins in a very-prolific extended family) seems to have a lot of problems with autoimmune disorders caused by rogue antibodies, but my youngest son seems to be the only one with a diagnosis of autism.

Our path is clear. We must end this menace to our children immediately. We must...ban mothers.

(Can't you actually see this taking place?)
