Martial Arts – An Excellent Alternative

The martial arts prove that there are viable alternatives to traditional training methods, and one that will not only help you achieve certain fitness goals but teach you self-defense, help build confidence, and lay out a path of goals ahead of you that will keep you coming back, wanting to learn more
 
A nice littel article. I know for me, MA was my original form of fitness...btu a funnything happened. As the demands of my art grew, I turned more and more to "traditional" conditioning to keep up. Now, I do as much conditioning as I do MA training (I consider it all training) and feel that much better for it. I'm in better shape now in my late 30's than I was in my early twenties.

I wouldn't have been able to stick with "traditional" fitness if it weren't for the fact that it served a higher puprose (improved MA performance.)
