Anyone here know anything about the Maori martial arts systems? I have seen a couple documentaries talking about the Taiaha (spear staff) and Patu (war club) and find myself with a million questions about the Maori hand to hand systems for Mau / Mau Rakau. Does anyone have expertise or know of any good resources? Are there teachers willing to teach foreigners or anyone in the states with experience?
