A 95-year-old man fired shots at a would-be robber who came to his front door in Vance on Tuesday.

One would-be robber fired five shots and hit the house several times as they ran from the house. The resident fired his rifle three times at the man but said he was not sure whether he hit him.
Homicide investigators and members of the U.S. Marshal’s task force arrested Tony Hill, 41, on Thursday afternoon after the homeowner gave them his name. They were still searching for the second man.
The homeowner was not injured.
