Oh good Lord. That is a supreme waste of time drafting this measure and actually trying to get it passed. What is next, we all need crossing guards to go across the street while holding hands because people without electronic devices get run over as well. Why not just ban those pesky cars and get rid of the whole electronics totally. You know those Amish have the right idea, bet none of them were squished by a car while listening to Godsmack on their iPod. Then again those horses have metal on their feet and can cause damage if they step on you while listening to the sound of grass growing along the path.

That settles it, anybody leaving the safety of their bed from now on should get fined.
