Obviously the entire crew had a blast making this movie... they had to do something crazy once in a while considering the length of the shooting for 3 films... THEN coming back to do fill in work and extended scenes.
I loved one cut from the blooper reel (posted here I think) about the soldiers barring the gate at Helm's Deep and one of them shouting "it's Jehovah's Witnesses!" and all the rest shout "GO AWAY!!"... hilarious.

Relationships developed between the cast and cast and crew and crew must've been a fun one to be in. What a job huh?

Indeed. Being in each others company for months at a time, for umpteen hours per day means you develop some pretty good bonds. Some of those scenes are hilarious indeed.

Now my only problem is that I cannot get this goddamn (brilliant) song out of my head.
It's a cover, and imo one of those rare covers that outshines the original. Somehow the melody creeps inside my head, and then the organ solo shakes loose some undefinable emotion. some sort of depressed 'down' mood, but in a way that makes it feel allright. can't really put words to it yet it is special.
