While I believe that this should be (and probably will wind up in ) the spirituality forum I found it a good read. Not from the stand point of agreeing with anything the writer had to say but rather from an opposing standpoint. This mindset is far too prevelant in non-MA individuals. I think he's got it all wrong. Chi is internal force/life energy.... well, from a christian standpoint, it is God that gave me that life energy, therefore, attempting to focus me chi could be seen as an attempt to become closer with God. It has been my experience that MOST legitimate martial artists are basically good people. Granted there are exceptions to every rule, but, the vast majority of us carry on, regrdless of religious affiliation, in a "Golden Rule" sort of way. I'll never understand extremist of any sort, I guess.
