Great forum... thanks for letting me in.
A little about me... I've been studying Yagyu Shinkage-ryu privately for the past 14 years, and am schooled in iaido, kendo and naginatajutsu. My teacher is not papered, but is a well-regarded student of the Yagyu school, and it's been my honor and pleasure to be able to learn from him in this manner outside of the dojo... I realize this puts me somewhere between serious student and backyard samurai, a point I won't argue, but I'm happy and grateful for the quality training I've been given.
I'm currently involved in some sword projects, building tsukas and saya, and learning tsukamaki; I'm also working on some reproduction armor.
