Kerry in Florida?

This reflects the seven point lead Kerry has in Florida.

Take it with a grain of salt, of course. These things change VERY quickly.

One of the reasons for the Florida lead is Cubano discontent with Bush's recent restrictions on travel to and from Cuba and his restrictions on Cuban-Americans sending care packages to family members.

These Cubans against Bush are immigrants from the eighties and their families...not the older Cuban immigrants whose families came over in the fifties and sixties. This latter group tends to vote Republican.

Imagine having a sick mother in Havana and not being able to visit her.

I wonder how closely our press will be watching what unfolds in Florida (and other states) to see if votes are tampered with, minorities kept from voting, and other things that happened during the last presidential election.
